WHERE IS UNITY IN DIVERSITY?

We all know that India is surely a diverse country. But is there unity in diversity? Not really!

There is an immense difference between most cultures in India - one state will have a completely different language, culture, facial features, and in some cases religion to the next .

My question is why can't people respect any caste or religion apart from their's?I don't see how people can discriminate with castes or religious practises. We are all human beings by nature. Our country itself is divided into 28 states. Isn't that enough? Why do we need to divide it anyfurther?

It is understandable if you believe in your God or religion. You can believe in whatever seems truthful to you.But you should also try to understand that just like you, everyone has their own beliefs and practices. If you cannot respect others' believes and practices, how can you expect your believes to be respected by others? Why can't we respect their freedom to believe in whatever they like to ?If you can't respect others' freedom, then i don't think you are capable of demanding your freedom and rights.Besides, you are also wasting a lot of time and energy by all that negative thinking.

"Let and let live!" Is that so hard to do?
